The RTP® Technology (Ready-To-Prep), as a joint development of Roboscreen GmbH and Invitek GmbH, is a technology whose special feature is the utilization of an Extraction Tube containing preformulated solid lysis reagents (nonchaotropic lysis buffer, Proteinase K). Also contains carrier RNA, and as a new component, a defined amount of nucleic acid extraction control (Invitek GmbH).
The carrier RNA and nucleic acid extraction control are coated on the wall of the Extraction Tube by using the Roboscreen® technology. The newly integrated nucleic acid extraction control is a convenient tool for the assessment of extraction efficiency and quality of the purified nucleic acids and the exclusion of false-negative results. |
